This facility provides immediate, non-medical therapy for patients who are experiencing a behavioral health emergency, stemming from a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression and addiction issues. Our providers are able to give immediate support and plan for next steps for the patient, including referrals if needed.
While no appointments are necessary, the goal is to provide immediate care (wait times will vary).
Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and self-pay accepted.
The Mental Health Walk-In Care facility serves as a behavioral health urgent care for ages 6 and older (children, adolescents and adults). Persons experiencing a mild-to-moderate mental health crisis, including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, drug and/or alcohol use.
A provider will complete an evaluation and make a next-steps plan. Many patients will be discharged with a referral for outpatient treatment follow-up. If hospitalization is necessary for a mental health crisis (examples include: suicidal, homicidal, psychotic, impaired functioning with dangerousness to self or others), those patients would be directed to seek help through the emergency department.
